TEDxSydney is shaped by a broad community of people who care deeply about ideas, dialogue and the future we’re collectively creating.

From time to time, we hear from people who are interested in volunteering with the event, or who would like to put forward an idea for the TEDxSydney stage. We welcome that interest and have created a single place to collect these expressions of interest.

Submitting this form helps us understand who’s reaching out and why, and allows us to keep track of potential contributors as the events evolve.

Interested in Speaking?

TEDxSydney speakers are selected through a careful and considered process that reflects the curation, context and scope of each event. Not all ideas submitted will be suitable for the TEDx format or for a particular year.

If you’d like to share an idea for consideration, you’re welcome to submit it via the form below.

  • Submitting an idea does not guarantee a speaking opportunity

  • Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we’re unable to respond individually to all proposals

  • We will only be in touch if your idea aligns with an upcoming event or theme

Interested in Volunteering?

TEDxSydney is supported by volunteers across a range of roles, from event delivery to behind-the-scenes support. Volunteer needs vary from year to year and are dependent on the shape and scale of each event.
